Does Bad Boy Records Really Not Pay Their Artists?

Now Roomies, we all know Diddy doesn’t write rhymes, he writes checks (his words, not ours). But according to some of his former Bad Boy Records artists, those checks don’t seem to be landing in their bank accounts. Claims of low payments and his ownership of many of his artists’ publishing rights has former Da Band member Freddy P and others crying foul. From the outside looking in, it seems Diddy is spreading the love, but according to these artists, he’s not spreading the wealth. Is this a case of bad business that deserves a reckoning, or should these artists just charge this to the game of being in the music industry and next time read their contracts?
